7 Days Return & Refund Policy

At Smart Technology (smartechnology.in), customer satisfaction is our top priority. We offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery. If 7 days have elapsed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a return, refund, or exchange. This policy ensures a fair and transparent shopping experience for all our valued customers.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Be unused and in its original condition.
  • Be returned with the original packaging intact.
  • Include all accessories, manuals, and the original invoice.
  • Be returned within 7 days of delivery.
  • Show no signs of damage caused by the customer.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling.
  • Products without original packaging.
  • Items returned after 7 days from delivery.
  • Gift cards and downloadable products.
  • Products explicitly marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page.
  • Products that have been assembled, installed, or modified by the customer.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund request. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. For COD (Cash on Delivery) orders, refunds will be made via bank transfer or UPI to your registered account.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund, please check your bank account first, then contact your payment provider or bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@smartechnology.in with your order number for immediate assistance.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or received in the wrong condition. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos or videos of the issue, and we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost to you.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping charges unless the product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect. In such cases, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please ensure the item is packed securely to avoid transit damage.

Refund Timeline Summary

  • Return request: Within 7 days of delivery
  • Item inspection: Within 2–3 business days of receipt
  • Refund processing: Within 5–7 business days after approval
  • Replacement shipping: Within 3–5 business days
